Wicked Wind
A family hangs on to a railing as they are buffeted by powerful wind gusts while watching the churning waves kicked up from Hurricane Sandy at Knollwood Beach in Old Saybrook. The powerful late-season hurricane knocked out power to much of the state for several days.
