a herdsman at Sankow's Beaver Brook Farm, bottle feeds a lamb while another looks longingly at the bottle. Since mid-February, about 300 lambs have been born at the farm. About 50-60 more will be born in mid-April as the spring lambing season winds down. The farm is the largest sheep farm in the state, and the only sheep dairy in Connecticut. The 175-acre farm has been in the Sankow family since 1917.
