PRAYER FOR MARIA

Anabel Pagan, Gabrielle Fasolino, Lissie Ramos, and Marisol Bonet (l-r) pray at the bedside of Anabel's eldest daughter, Sofi. Sofi and her younger brother Daniel suffer from Batten disease, a rare, fatal, inherited disorder of the nervous system also known as neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses, that slowly stips victims of their motor skills. Anabel and Felix believe that Sofi and Daniel are angels sent to them to bring people closer to God. When people meet the Pagans or hear their story they are often moved to prayer - prayers of healing and prayers to sustain the family through their grief. Marisol is a charismatic healer who had not seen the family in two years, but stopped by to pray for Sofi.
