Moral Monday Protest

Rev. Cornell Lewis, an activist, faces a group of Hartford police officers while blocking the road behind the Old State House with other protesters during rush hour on June 8, 2015, in an event organized by Moral Monday Connecticut, whose mission is to conduct demonstrations to promote a conversation about reforming the criminal justice system. Seventeen people, including Lewis, were arrested in the peaceful protest.
